These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings and travel services provided by Horizon Nest Travels. By making a reservation with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined below.
A safari reservation is considered confirmed only upon receipt of a 40% deposit of the total safari cost. All payments must be made through official Horizon Nest Travels payment channels. Bookings made without the required deposit remain provisional and subject to availability.
Payment terms are governed by our Payment Policy. The remaining 60% balance must be paid no later than 60 days before the safari start date. Failure to meet payment deadlines may result in cancellation of the booking without compensation.
Safari prices quoted by Horizon Nest Travels include:
Transfers by safari vehicle
Professional safari guide services
Meals as specified in the itinerary
Park entrance fees
Activities expressly listed in the itinerary
All prices are estimates until fully confirmed by Horizon Nest Travels. Any additional activities, upgrades, itinerary changes, or government fee adjustments may result in revised pricing.
Cancellations are subject to our Safari Cancellation Policy outlined below. Cancellation terms apply from the date written notice is received by Horizon Nest Travels.
60–30 days before safari start: Full refund minus a 30% administration fee
30–14 days before safari start: 50% of total safari cost is non-refundable
13 days or less before safari / no-show: 100% cancellation fee (no refund)
The following items are strictly non-refundable once booked:
Park permits
Gorilla and chimpanzee trekking permits
Special activity and conservation fees
These costs are governed by third-party providers and conservation authorities.
All approved refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original transaction. Processing timelines may vary depending on financial institutions and payment providers.
Horizon Nest Travels is committed to responsible tourism. Travelers are expected to:
Respect wildlife and natural habitats
Follow park rules and guide instructions
Show respect to local communities and cultures
Failure to adhere to these principles may result in removal from activities without refund.
Horizon Nest Travels reserves the right to make reasonable itinerary adjustments due to weather, safety concerns, availability, or conservation requirements. Any significant changes will be communicated promptly.
